Okay, so long story short — my landlord just dropped the bomb that I’ve got 3 weeks to move out because they're selling the place. I’ve got furniture, way too many boxes, no car, and basically zero time. I’ve never used a moving service before. Is there a smart way to do this without spending a fortune or burning out completely?

Been there, and yeah — it’s chaos. But there’s definitely a smarter way to do it. When I had to move from my old place in Hackney to South London last year, I used a London based service that handled both the van and an extra set of hands for loading. What saved me was their flexible hours and the fact that they didn’t overcharge for short-notice jobs. I booked online in five minutes, and they showed up exactly when they said they would. Trust me, don’t try to do it all solo — it’s not worth the stress, and these services are often way more affordable than people think.

Moving across the city can be overwhelming, especially on a tight deadline. Planning early, decluttering, and finding help with transport can make a huge difference.
